About Management Observatory

The Management Observatory Foundation (Fundacja Obserwatorium Zarządzania) is a business support institution which deals with the management of enterprise problems, implementation of innovation and economic education of the society and businesses. The Foundation’s scope of activity includes undertaking of the original and permanent research and development programmes dedicated to the strategy of business management as well as the use of modern management techniques, labour market, information and communication technology and the access to the capital for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises.


The Management Observatory Foundation cooperates with over 60 experts on a regular basis and with nearly 100 experts temporarily, in relation to several dozen projects carried out with the use of both the EU funds and commercial funds. Prestigious projects, high quality of services, hundreds of satisfied clients and currently implemented development strategy until 2020 are the main competitive advantages of the Foundation.


In Poland, the Management Observatory Foundation represents international organisations affiliating professionals from the field of training and advisory services. These include: the American Society for Training and Development and the International Federation of Training and Development Organisations. As a result, the Foundation cooperates with numerous partner offices from all over the world, which gives an opportunity to transfer successful solutions from abroad.


The Research Department analyses the management process in relation to the capital of human resources, clients and technology as well as carries out regular panel and benchmark research. The Certification Centre singles out the best companies as the laureates of prestigious countrywide certification programmes:



The Advisory and Training Department helps to achieve diffusion of innovation and supports certified organisations in the process of change through dedicated advisory programmes, which in some cases are financed from the resources of the EU Innovative Economy Operational Programme, Measure 5.2, as a part of Katalizator Innowacji (Innovation Catalyser). Moreover, the Advisory and Training Department conducts dedicated commissioned projects as well as a series of specialised managerial trainings entitled
Profesjonalny Menedżer (Professional Manager), including Profesjonalny Menedżer Szkoleń, Kompetencji i E-businessu (Training, Competence and E-business Professional Manager), the latter being financed from the resources of the Human Capital Operational Programme, Measure: 2.1.1.



The Information and Communication Technology Department undertakes developmental works related to the use of new media in business and education, and coordinates the development of EduKlaster - Nowe media w edukacji (EduClaster – new media in education), whose aim is to create an information society and ensure an equal access to knowledge and education. EduClaster already comprises more than 70 entities. The purpose of the expansion of the Knowledge Village project is to create a centre of services common to all the cluster members and to enable the incubation of the companies operating in the technology and service sector. The support provided as a part of the Leonardo da Vinci programme translates into the management of and participation in 4 projects:



The Capital Investment Departmentcarries out projects supporting enterprise in relation to acquiring capital for innovation. It undertakes systemic projects which are related to establishing a stable investment and relationship platform among entrepreneurs, investors and capital market advisors, and which are run as a part of the programmes financed from the EU resources (the Innovative Economy Operational Programme, Measure: 3.3.1):



There are works in progress to establish a closed-end fund and a seed capital fund. The advisory services for the Ministry of Treasury are provided within Katalizator Inwestycji (Investment Catalyser) project – www.katalizatorinwestycji.pl, financed from the Innovative Economy Operational Programme, Measure: 5.2.
