Projects

In pursuit of its statutory goals, independently or in collaboration with Polish and international partners, the Management Observatory executes projects in the following fields:


  1. RESEARCH PROJECTS – realized independently or together with the Foundation’s partners. These are focused on monitoring the trends present in the field of human resources management, training and development, job market and remuneration, e-business. Various media-based products are then executed on the basis of completed projects: reports, compendiums, conferences, press releases, information services.

    Next editions of the following projects are scheduled in 2009:
    Job Attitudes /3rd editon/, @revolution in business /4th edition/, The power of telemarketing /5th edition/, Training in Poland /4th edition/

    Benchmarks are created during research projects and indexes are developed on this basis for comparing operations of companies.

  2. The Management Observatory has developed a certification program named CERTIFIED BUSINESS PARTNER, which has a goal of improving quality of service provided to enterprises (B2B) through educating clients in consciously choosing ‘certified companies’ as vendors. The process is implemented through promoting the Verified Business Partner Index and audits of companies, consisting in a number of tests, including customer satisfaction, corporate culture, customer relations building, strategies flow, opinions and industry benchmarks. All companies complying with the minimum requirements shall receive the Emblem, a test report and marketing support.

  3. The Management Observatory’s flagship project is the HR Congress – the most prestigious event for the HR industry. The goal of the HR Congress is to adapt the best domestic and global solutions for improving personnel management in Polish organizations. Every time, about 500 players in the field of human resource management, including presidents of companies, HR directors, managers can share their experiences and discuss new trendsetting concepts in human resources management. The HR Congress was hold in April 2008 for the 7th time now.

  4. The Management Observatory participates in consulting and education projects co-financed by the European Social Fund. In 2007, it executes part of a project called ‘Investment HR 2’, contracted by the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development and co-financed with EU funds under the European Social Fund. It is organized by WYG International Sp. z o.o. and the project is addressed at the small and medium-sized enterprises sector, covering the issues classified as areas of expertise of the Management Observatory:

    • Identification and analysis of human resources management methodologies
    • Researching and analysis of training needs
    • Design of workshops supporting human resources management methods in organizations

The foundation is represented by the PROGRAM BOARD, acting as an advisory body in regard of developing new professional programs. The Management Observatory’s scheduled activities for 2008 shall further include collaboration with government agencies with regard to implementation of international training & development standards, including coach qualifications certification system, verification and analysis of training requirements, assessment of training projects efficiency.
